Cheap Delaware Cell Phone Plans
Asian cell-phone consumers are more value-conscious than Americans.
Since my AT&T Go $30/month pre-paid service did not include data, I recently switched to MetroPCS pre-paid service (runs on T-Mobile backend).
For the same $30/month, I now get unlimited talk and text plus 1GB of high-speed data.
Porting my existing number took about 20-minutes at a MetroPCS store in Kent County, Delaware. I had already purchased a MetroPCS Universal Starter SIM Kit at Walmart for $6.10 (after price matching Amazon) and inserted it into my unlocked iPhone 5S before heading to the store.
The MetroPCS store rep waived the $3 fee for activating and paying for my first month of service at the store. Once I got home, I set up an online account. Although MetroPCS advertises 4G LTE, I get 3G speed on my iPhone 5S.
MetroPCS provides affordable cell phone service plans. I recommend that you always start with the cheapest plan ($30/mth in June 2016).
After a few days of service, if you feel you need more data then you can upgrade to the next level ($40/mth for 4GB data).
